Hi All, I had a parking aid error on my 2010 s4. my indy validated a sensor fault with VAGCOM on front right inner sensor. They pointed me at Audi dealer to fix it as they don't stock the parts.

Fine... I looked thru the parts db linked on this forum, found the part 4H0919275A 3FZ and soon found a genuine one on ebay for fraction of main dealer costs.

My question is: can I just replace the old part and all is done or does the new sensor need to be calibrated on the car as my indy suggested?
i think indy is wrong and the software will interperate the signal from the sensor but I thought i'd see if anyone else has had a similar situation.

Thought I'd update this for reference, they are plug and play. It took me around 3 mins to fit as it was in the grill.
Park Assist working fine now.

I've seen them on eBay as well, couldn't believe how cheap they are. Makes me wonder if they are fake/inferior quality.
