Replacement Cooling fan part

Hi,

My car was overheating so I took it into a garage, came back with fault code 06481 which is the cooling fan. I was told it is the larger of the twin fans that needs replacing. My dads thinks he can fit it, but i need to find the part. I had a quick look and there are SO many different ones, I have no idea which one I need! Prices vary from £50 to £300 as well! I don't mind a reconditioned one.
I need to know i can find the part tonight, otherwise I have to take it into the garage tomorrow as I;m away from home :S Garage quoted me £281 including the investigatory hour which will be deducted from the price (was £69.90). Does this seem reasonable or do you think I should get my Dad to do it?

If so, could someone please direct me to the correct part number? I would be grateful.

It is an A3 diesel 57 plate BKD model.

The lager of the fans is for the aircon, I've just swapped mine out and got both fans in the assembly from ECP http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/A...ae2e590dcc1db484dc2d51cec84a150ae85d1f&000128. Took about an hour to fit but was easy, put it up on axel stands, 2 screws at the top and 2 at the bottom which I took the under tray off to get to and the whole lot just came out the bottom.
