Remote central locking/auto wipers/auto headlights failed

OK, a peculiar one.. A3 8P 2.0tfsi

My remote started to intermittently not work, no problem, changed battery.. Still no good. Tried with spare also with new battery, still intermittently not working. At the same time, my auto wipers just go at a set rate, and my auto headlights remain on even in daylight. Oh, and my rear view dimming mirror has stopped working too.

So the million pound question is.. Are these faults likely to be related!? If not that's one hell of a coincidence!

No fault codes etc. Any help would be muchly appreciated

Check car battery 1st.

Given auto wipers, auto headlights & mirror are all linked to a degree, this would be a good place to start.

What years the car?

Could be the ce module as if its a 09ish onwards as thst also controls the remote signals.

Woops! Sorry.. It's an 06.

What issue with the battery could cause these symptoms? Voltage across poles is 14.1 when running.
