Remap advice also decat advice

Hello,

Not too long has my car 2.0tfsi avant,

Looking to get a remap and wondering who’s best? Is revo good enough or rtech better? Rtech is more expensive tho? But is it worth the extra 100 odd?

Also I’m thinking of getting a decat as want more noise. But looking on rtech website. They say if you have a decat it’s a stage 2 map, but for stage 2 they need a bigger fmic and fuel pump?

So if I go stage 1 and then fit decat after. Will there be any issues? Apart from eml on the dash?

i would go for a sportcat over decat with mot becoming stricter, you may find you cant get thro mot with decat.

i startd out with a superchip bluefin on my 2wd, then you just want more hence now many pounds down the line with revo2+.

many times this wil have been said, make sure your on top of your maintenance before you tune, oil/fuel filters/cam follower/pcv system/dv valve/plugs&packs

Yeah just changed all of those apart cam follower which just awaiting to fit
