rear axle bushes fwd

will be looking to do the rear axle bushes on my dads FWD car in the next few weeks.
any one ever done this? any tips?

We did them on our old FWD.

Used threaded rod and various sockets, washers and bits of metal to push them out and in. Arsey fiddly job.

yea that was our thoughts.
do you need to take the rear axle off or can you let it hang to a degree?

we just let it hang down, its a bit shonky as its the brake hoses that it ends up dangling on. just need to be careful how much you lower it down.
