Hi all

I'm trying to retrofit Rain Light and Humidity Sensor (8U0-955-559-B) to an A3 8V 2015.
When applying the gel, does it have to fully cover the surface of the sensors or do I need to avoid the glass circles as shown in the pictures?

Thanks

For our A3's, it will b as per picture 2: cover the whole surface. You can do this with either a gel syringe or with a pre-made replacement gel pad. If you're using a syringe, overfill it ever so slightly so as to create a slight "dome" on the sensor. This needs to be done with the sensor perfectly level, of course. Replacement gel pads are easier.

That's exactly what I did, I have the b sensor and ordered the gel pad. Thanks
