Powered load cover

Hi all.
Fairly new to A6 C7 ownership.
The one ive bought has an electric tailgate with powered load cover.
I cant seem to find any information of how to remove the load cover?
Im used to using my last estate as a bit of a workhorse when it comes to loading it up. Im finding this electric load cover very restrictive so would like to take it out if I can?

If it's in the manual, aplogies. My manual is in Japanese so I havent bothered checking it haha

If anyone has a guide or could explain how to do it that'd be great!

You pull the load cover down past the bottom of the guide channels and that then allows it to fully retract into the cassette. You can remove the cassette by pulling the lever on the right hand end. Replacement is the reverse
