power seats

I was wondering if anyone can help me out as i'm trying to get my power seats to work.

The red plug is for powering the seat (reclining, lumbar, etc) doen anyone know what pin is what in regards to forward motion lower higher etc.

Depends which red plug you're referring to, if you mean the one that usually plugs into the floor, then its just a simple -/+ connection & all the motions are controlled within the seat electronics.

Pics of said parts would help.

You will need to just connect up the main -/+ & buy the correct repair wires & connectors from audi to do a good job of it, personally I wouldn't cut/shut.

I've got an appointment with a VAG specialist to get it all working properly , the lumbar support heating etc on friday so used a +/- wire from the battery just to move the seat forward so i can drive it there lol and to and from work in the mean while. thx for the help so far guys

Should of asked, I could of got it all connected up & working.

what about the Kufatec loom like I got Phil? I think it was about 40 quid and gave me heated and full electric motion from original (electric lumbar only). You've seen my thread so there's a link in there for it I think.
