Possible to have heated mirror on by default? (VCDS)

Hey Guys,

Had a quick search but couldn't find what I needed.

Does anybody on this forum know if there is a VCDS bit to tick or mod to turn on heated mirrors by default?
I now have to turn the knob to the down position everytime. And as I have a mirrordip mod coded I want to knob to stand on the right position so the right mirror dips when I try to reverse park (I drive a LHD in The Netherlands).

My previous model, the 8P had them on by default. I only now feel that it's not as my mirrors are damped and wet everymorning and I need to turn the knob myself everytime, haha.

Maybe @DJAlix I see you are praised as a coding god on this forum .

You can't do it and u shouldn't leave it on all time.. otherwise will get constantly hot and the double sided adhesive will get hot and your mirror will eventually fall off
Always when your mirrors get dry turn it off

Are they not on thermostats any more? But agree don't think there's a mod for always on, other than using the selector.

It seemed strange to me when i first got my S3 that the mirror heating was on a separate switch . My previous 2 cars ( Focus ST and Jaguar XFS ) both activated the heated mirrors when the heated rear screen was on and turned off when the rear screen timed out .
