Hi everyone, my drivers side electric window stopped working the other day and is stuck shut, the motor clicks when I press the down switch but nothing else happens.
Since then I have unplugged the motor from the door cog and tested if it is working with the wires attached, same issue with the clicking which led me to believe it is the motor, phoned Audi up, got quoted £250 (i know, ridiculous) after this I did some more testing to determine if it was the motor so next I tried the working passenger motor on the drivers door and it does the exact same noise and refuses to move even unplugged from the door with the wires attached like with the testing I did initially.
I unfortunately don't have VCDS to check any faults, so could anybody point me in the right direction here if anybody has experienced this before, thanks.
