Opinions on Wrap Colour

Seen a velvet wrapped Ferrari once while driving in Larn'darn town going to Thorpe park.

As I've said and so has Adam, they are pictures which don't really give a true reflection of the colour, hence wrap companies using samples to give you a rough idea. Out of interest what colour is your car currently?

If anything it looks far from cheap in person and I'd actually be confident you'd have a different opinion in person, I've seen my fair share of **** wraps over the years too, the flat colours look terrible as do chrome.

The colours all pop and reflect off light due to the satin finish and the samples posted above look completely different when on a car incorporating the car's body work and lines.

The 3M Dark Satin Silver I had previously for example looks different in a few google image searches as you'll see with these two examples, it's the same wrap though, you'll notice the bottom one looks darker and is throwing more 'shine'

Decided to receive this thread thanks to @Meemo my car has been dropped off with Jamie today with collection next Saturday. Can't wait

Poor upload quality but snapped a pic of the vinyl in its box, not sure if myself or Jamie (wrapper) is more excited for the colour

Right... I didn't say it was original did I? I was stating things look different in person and a picture on here isn't the best way to showcase this.

I shouldn't really be biting, I'm a bit miffed you're in the A5 section calling peoples cars 'cheap' too. For what it's worth, I receive a lot more compliments and chat on my car with either of the wraps, it's a break from the normal standard options but obviously isn't for everyone.

I'm buzzing to see what @Adam14 's car looks like once completed! Nearly time mate!

No mate as asked him not to send anything or post anything on social media, wanted a full surprise on collection which he kindly agreed to. He said he'll take pictures anyway and then share after collection.

Haha I've had nothing! I wanted the full surprise of seeing it 100% done because if I see a wing I'd want to see the rest! Collection on Saturday isn't too far away.

So unfortunately the wrap has had an unexpected delay, no fault of the wrap place so pick up will have to be next week now :(

Waiting to hear back from him but managed to get Thursday morning off work as wrapper wanted my car Wednesday afternoon to get some proper photos taken, he's already shared with some people and had a really positive response (and some new work due to it)...maybe should charge commission

The car has been collected, slight delay due to a miscommunication on the chrome parts being rewrapped but Jamie admitted the mistake and got it sorted quickly. Can't fault his work, to avoid the poor upload quality on this forum I have uploaded a few pics to Imgur below:

The colour pops in the light and changes hue based on the light, absolutely speechless, and looks the mutts.
 
Can't get them to load Adam except for on the link you've attached underneath, from the initial pic I've seen I love it!

Very striking, need to Black the wheels, Front side grilles, exhaust and rear badges (in my eyes) to finish it

Front grill is already black, not changing the exhaust tips as ceramic coated them and the chrome being clean is more striking imo.

Have ordered a rear gloss black S5 badge to put on at some point.

Don't want to gloss black these wheels as they'll lose their value. Keeping an eye out for some 20" instead.

Don't think so, same method of heating the badge and fishing line/floss to remove it. Just a bit more careful but the heat from a hairdryer won't affect the wrap. He had to remove the spoiler again after it was wrapped so can't see an issue.

You can defo change the rings without damaging the wrap but I'd get them to do it.

I would personally change the front rings to chrome as I think it just pops a bit more!
