Oil

Hi all

My S1 has done just over 2k miles now - and she hasn't yet asked for any oil..

It surprises me as I was expecting a top up being new - I haven't exactly been driving economically either lol!

What are your experiences?

I used 1L in 5k... They don't seem too thirsty compared to some high powered turbo VAG engines.

I'm 2.5k miles in and I was thinking the exact same this weekend, I checked it and its still above half way on the dip marker. I'm doing a oil change soon anyway to complete the bedding in.

I've not noticed any excess oil use although i've changed my oil every 3k anyway! Im on 13k now! Lol

even as far back as my mk5 gti never had any oil consumption on any tfsi/tsi engine
