Think my oil pump has gone but hoping its may be alternator or something less £.

Currently car is in Gatwick long stay car park I had to drive round m25 to get there for 50 miles so at 70mph and no issues then, when I got to slower speeds / idle at the car park barrior engine sounded like tractor, battery warning light came on and i noticed window slow to open no engine oil light. The car was serviced a week prior new oil and filter hence my worry. Was late for my flight so didnt have time to hang around will need to get rac out when I fly back.

If oil pump had failed or was failing would I have noticed it at higher speed vs lower speed ideal were I have the issue ? I dont understand why battery warning light came on and car seems down on battery power or could that also happen if oil.pump gone ?

could be the aux belt tensioner, they sound crap at low speeds if they break,
should be easy enough to check and cheaper than alternator
if it is tensioner, then get a new belt, as the old one will be knackered from slipping in the alternator pulley
