Guys,

My car has the oil warning light constantly on despite not being low on oil. Has been like this for 3000 miles now.

Someone suggested perhaps its a problem with the Oil pick-up pipe being clogged - what do you think?

Where would I buy this pipe?

thanks
Paul

Out of curiosity, which light is it??

I need to say that you are brave to be driving it for that long though without getting it checked.

Its a picture of an oil can comes up on the dash. It isn't losing oil.

Red oil can is low pressure... I'd get it checked..... it could also be a faulty oil pressure sender too or a wiring fault... scan for fault codes with VCDS... I believe oil pressure sensor faults will appear in module 17 (instruments)

Oil pressure light tends to only come on when there's pretty much zero pressure, at which point you'd very quickly be getting other (likely very audible) issues... Especially after 3000 miles!!!

My money's on sensor or wiring, still.... Just in case anyone wasn't completely sure from my previous post lol
