Oil level Indication Problems

For the 8 months that I have owned my A6 from new to 7600 miles, the oil level has never shifted from maximum. Checked my App tonight and it’s suddenly now at 30%. I don’t believe the indication but there is no dipstick to check. No visible leaks either, jeez it’s a new car. Anyone else seen this?

I have done 8k and it’s used a litre 2.0 diesel me thinks it’s a lot and there will be an issue

Don't rely on the app, its not always accurate for showing oil level. Use the car's MMI settings to check. FWIW my A6 was almost empty of oil at 7500 miles, but luckily the nice folks at Highland Audi topped it up free of charge as they already had the car to investigate for dashboard rattling.
