Hi need some advice...

I have 2009 s3 and looking to get new wheels.

I have 10 and 12mm spacers and looking for 18inch.

What offsets am I looking for? Will ET42 fit okay?

Any info would be great in baffled

I have ET43 on my A3 (19x8.5 wheel, 235 tyre). Fills the guards up nicely but im only lowered around 50mm from stock. Have a bit of rubbing in the back I need to sort out but otherwise its good.

8.5J width with ET42 with spacers will stick out beyond the wheel arch. If they are 8J then they will fit perfectly.

Does that mean ET42 will fit with 10 and 12mm spacers?
If you are fitting 8.5 wide rims and they have an ET 42 you may not need spacers, if the wheels end up to close to the wheel struts then just add 5mm. spacers or what ever is a necessary.

Okay cheers that is pretty much the answer is was looking for...What's the poke like out the side of the car with et42 with 8.5wide wheels with no spacers.

I'm only dropping the car by 20mm

I'm looking at getting 18'' 3SDM 0.06 and they come in ET42 will probably have 225 40 18 tyres on as I already have them laying around
