Odd clutch vibration on start up

This has happen twice now in a week or so. When I have my foot on the clutch on start up I feel a strong vibration coming through the pedal. Never happened before. It’s like a jolt in coming through the pedal. I’ve just turned the car in 6 times when arrived home and it was normal. Car drives fine.

Any ideas what this might indicate?

Is there a rattle as well, which engine, how many miles and is it when cold?

No rattle, 2.0 TDI 80k on the clock.

It’s quite intermittent.

Could be the cluch release bearing, the pressure plate or even the dmf..
