2011 S5 Sportback.
Had the gearbox malfunction error intermittently. Its happened many months ago, and again 3 weeks ago, and again today. Only giving me gears 1/3/5/7 with no reverse. Disappears after I switch the car off and on. So I ran OBD11, I've attached the report (of only modules that shown any errors).
Is there anything to be concerned with, either with the Transmission module or any other modules that was flagged up?
I know these Stronic gearboxes are a bit dodgy until 2014 MY, and I also know there is a fix for the gearbox without changing the whole mechatronic unit. Would anyone know the approximate cost including labour for this fix?
I'm debating whether to go ahead with the gearbox fix and then maybe remap the car (currently standard) or just go for a new car later in the year (eyes on a 440i or maybe an S3).
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks and stay safe in these times.
