hi all first forum I've ever joined heard this is the best 1 for audi's just bought an s3 2007 so might be needing advice :)
 
Do yourself a favour mate and de-register while you've still got some money left lol!

Lol is it that bad? I've had it for a month and seems to be fine so far just the odd sensor needed replacing and il post pics when I get a chance

It's the moding bug that bites.
Being around all these nice cars coupled with the gentle encouragement of forum members to spend your money takes an iron will to resist lol!

Haha think the speed is good yet but I'm sure il want it faster sooner so mods it gonna have to be :)

ha ha mine started with a few sensors, 6 months later, wheels, tyres, bypasses, deletes, filters bla bla bla lol, oh and my coilovers come monday ha ha


Where in Leeds are you mate? is that a clue in your user name (shafs = shafsbury?)
 
From near Leeds in area called batley and u? Seen as tho you been spending a few bob here and there would you recommend investing in one of them Ross tech vag cables?
 
Definitely, not cheap but then neither is an S3.
I have one and I'm only up the road in Bradford if you need a scan.
 
I know batley, next to birstall got a mate who lives in gildersome (not too far from you). I'm in Leeds 9 (osmonthorpe, wykebeck, holton moor area) about 15 mins from you.

I would recommend ross tech cable and software to anyone, great investment and really does save you money and makes money too when you get to grips with it . I put an ad on gumtree that I would diagnose peoples motors and do other bits with it, doing that has paid for the cable lol
 
That sounds like an idea I been looking into it tbh just been told to stay away just in case I mess the car up if I don't know what am doing and what price am I looking at possibly for one?

To diagnose and clear codes etc you cant ****** owt up. If you go to ross tech website or even on here there is a wealth of information. So far with mine I have reset the throttle body, turned on the auto lock for the doors, done a crash simulation lol, tested abs and so on......... To do that I followed instrustions from ASN ans ross tech.

As for cost I think someone on here will give you the cheepest option or retailler.

Of these wouldn't mind making some side money :) and I need to look into goin home parking lights cos my car didn't come with any I want to do
Minor tweaks to it yet nowt with the engine till I'm completely bored of the speed which I doubt will e very soon from havin a BMW 318i!

Sport back or 3 door? I got the same color don't think iv seen it yet only know one more person who has one n he works with me
 
Mines got the drl can I ask have you left the amber/ orange drl light or have you changed the bulb to a more white colour?

There is one in birstall but i use hudds audi to keep it all genuine i know its expensive but i think its worth it

Mine clean it's covered in tree sap at the moment lol and no it hasn't looking to upgrade soon thought

Nice one let me know how much need to get timing belt sorted first tbh but shud have some money left for some accessories :)
