New S3 Wheels - Alternatives???

Hi all

Looking at the general posts re the new facelift S3, just wondered which wheels you will be putting on your new purchases when the lucky ones anongst us take delivery.

If I order one next year I will have the wheels booked in for change on the first day, sorry, can't be seen driving a new S3 for one day with those minging wheels.

I'd probably go for the RS4 reps!! 18"

Any thoughts on what you'd replace them with.

Ps. still enjoying the A3 sportback until my S3 time comes again!

When the S3 first came out quite a few people slated the wheels then but with time they have grown on them. A don't mind them at all so will be keeping mine on!

Those new wheels just aren't very 'Audi' are they. They look like something i'd expect to see on a Lexus...
Anyway i recon they should give the 5 spoke 19's from the new TT-S as an option on the S3. Much more clean looking, sporty wheel.

What's the wheel/tyre specialist people recommend on here?
Mate is looking for a wheel/tyre deal for some 18's on his little Merc convertible.

I ordered mine originally with an upgrade as I didn't like the new wheels. When I went to the garage they had a car in with them fitted, they actually look not too bad, and like a lot f people say....I think they will grow on you.

RS4s are too common. Just about every S-line car (A4, A6 included) has them...

They are the dogs!!! I am having a slight panic attack as I don't recognise those wheels, I don't even recognise the brand!! They look like they could be multi piece, do you know what they are? I have a customer with an A5 and we are doing the full hit for him (body kit, lowering, tints and wheels) and these would be perfect for him.

It's hard to recommend wheels for people as everyone likes different things, but I would say the RS4 thing has been done to death so stay clear. If you want something Audi try R8 reps or the new RS6 reps. If you want something different try August Werke as they still have an Audi feeling to the design and really werke (sorry for the pun!) on the A3.

They are 360 Forged rims! They are lovely looking wheels...... I'm sure they'll cost a few pennies too.
