New dipstick

Anyone replaced their dipstick, mines just broke and need to buy a new one. B7 avant quattro 220hp

Any help much appreciated

I got mine off eBay only a few £'s and delivered well wrapped up all in one piece. Easy to fit just pushed down till it clicked in place.

What exactly broke? need to be carefull not to drop any plastic particles into the dip-stick opening when removing the dipstick, you then end up taking the sump off to inspect, clean/replace the oil pick up

The red part broke apart that you see in the picture. I'm guessing the dipstick won't seal properly now. Would I best just measuring the old one and buying one off ebay that states for a4. Any differences between models. Cheers
