Hi guys originally joined here wirh an a3 sportback 2.0tdi, then a couple of years ago bought an a6 c6 avant Le mans, again with a 2.0tdi, and have now just bought an audi d3 s8 in aqua blue with kamut beige interior, very well specced with the b&o speakers, rear electric blinds, climate control and heated seats in the front and back, adaptive cruise control which is pretty cool, engine had a full strip down and carbon clean just over a year ago.
Anyone who owns an fsi engine will know they are prone to carbon build up, the previous owner also had the inlet manifold gutted due to the plastic flaps failing, then had it remapped out so no eml light on, you lose a bit of low end torque doing this but gain in the higher revs, and the intake noise is immense due to the the inlet being gutted.
He also had 2 of the 4 rear silencers removed to make the v10 a bit gruntier sounding, as with double glazing the cockpit is pretty quiet considering you've got a 5.2 litre v10 under your right foot.
Anyhow I'll put a couple of photos on.
