A friend removed the cats from his car it was louder and the exhaust note changed and became more raspy. A little like some of the BMW M3/M5 etc have that exhaust rasp rather than the deeper exhaust of something like a Merc AMG

Well here it is 
My opinion on the seemingly odd swap from an Audi S4 B8 running 500HP to a For Fiesta ST 180 running 317HP
1st things 1st,the Audi is obviously more luxurious & comfortable etc (no shock lol).Also (obviously again) the S4 is quicker of the mark due to quattro .
After that is when the ST come into its own.The fun factor in the ST (tuned) is much greater than the S4 as you have to drive the ST,where as the S4 drives itself most of the time.
0-60 wise my St is like the standard S4 in the low 5's,after that then are very close
