Just had a interim service done with Audi which was fine as it was at fixed price. But they came back saying there needs to be some more work doing to the car:

Front shock absorbers have an oil weep
Slight play in N/S/F lower ball joint
Play in O/S/F lower ball joint
EGR valve leaking oil
Auxiliary belt perished

Most of the work I will probably get done by an indy garage, but my dad has cleaned the EGR on his MKV Golf so might try to do that ourselves (I watch, and dad does the work)

Probably get the auxiliary belt changed first and then might try to clean the EGR valve.

Has anyone successfully cleaned their EGR valve?
