I have had my audi new to me since Oct 2016, it is a A6 C6 2.0TDie Avant 2009. This is the first Audi I have owned so i am new to the MMI system. My CD changer and Multimedia unit are located in the glovebox and my display is full colour.
The possible issue I may have is when listening to cd,s or the radio the settings that i may have selected eg shuffle for Cd or info text for the radio etc are not stored when the vehicle is switched off. When I start up again the radio or Cd reverts back to the standard settings and therefore have to reselect my preferences.
Is this normal or do i need to select a function to retain the memory?.

When you start the car up does it pick up where it stopped previously on the CD?

Do you know which MMI version you have? I'll try it on mine and see if it's the same.

Ok, slightly different to mine then. I'll still try it when I get chance to. I would imagine it's a bug in the software version on your unit, seems there are similar complaints on various forums across a range of vehicle and MMI versions
