MMI connection issues

So now I cannot connect to any of the apps such as News, weather etc . I’m sure it worked when I picked the car up.
I also now understand you have to pay for the Wi-Fi connection unlike my 2020 A5 which you could use as a hotspot.
Any ideas what the problem is?

News & Weather should work via the Audi connect which is included with the car purchase for 36 months. Hotspot wi-fi & online radio is a paid option via ‘ cubic telecom ‘ that costs a tenner a month. Unless anyone can answer how to tether the data back from a mobile phone, which I’ve asked before and nobody has answered. I think this is another way of Audi tying us into using there preferred service like taking away the SIM card slot and making it use a embedded sim.
