Facelift Misfire?

Hi All

I have an March 17 S3 FL. If I knock the car into neutral and plant by foot to the floor (you know - some pops and bangs) the car seems to misfire slightly on the first wind up of the revs. It doesn't do it again after that and it drives and everything else as you would expect.

Makes me think something is programmed to make this happen.

Anyone else found this or can shed some light on why it does it?

Yes it does that, first slotting into neutral out of a drive gear to give it blips. As soon as the revs build it's like it bogs down. I think it's the ECU's way of asking us are we sure we want to do that.
