Mercedes air vents in an A3!!

Just stumbled across these on Insta! Anyone impressed and going to take the plunge?!

Yeah. i mean, these are A3 vents with the inners styled to be Merc ones so i doubt they have lights.

I actually kind of like them! They have the benefit of build-in air-freshner option.. And if you get the LED-illuminated version, looks cool as well!
I wonder how much effort it takes to get them fitted(all we need is someone with these air vents, to give us the dimensions, or has done the swap)

Just to be clear, from what I can see, these are A3 vents styled on Merc vents! No lights, no air freshener, nothing! seems like the base part of the vent is A3 with the inside being the Merc parts. These are NOT Merc vents with the Mercedes features! Although if you really want to then I’m sure you can add in those features.

I personally don't like them but I guess it's a matter of taste. I'm waiting for Audi to eventually facelift the Q2 and retrofit those vents into the 8v assuming they change the design of the vents.

Those pics look kinda PSed... But I guess even if the dimension fits you will loose the articulation coz it looks extremely tight? And in theory, you can activate the ambient color menu on MMI, since they're just RGB SMDs, they signal MIGHT be the same on the Merc air vents... I went with just adding SMD panel to the air vents, didn't bother with ambient color menu since only the air vents are RGB on mine, and the on/off and color change are done by a remote on mine...

No idea why there isn't SMD/aroma combined version... But here's mine PFL 8V air vents with SMD...

Those air vents are as classy as the Merc" diamond" front grill.
