LPG Conversion (S4 b5)

Has anyone seen or have any information on LPG conversions on an Audi S4??

I have a 1998 A4 2.4 v6 with an LPG conversion its extremely cheap to run £25=325 miles and one of the main benefits is that it will pass an emmsions test with out the cats fitted when running on gas. Its in the bodyshop getting an S4 bumper and new lights fitted at the moment, the next job is to remove the cat's which should give me 10-15 extra BHP this is cheap power which will cost me about £180

Where are you getting your decat(s) from? I've got a A4 B5 1.8T on LPG and might do the same, especially if what you say about emissions is true. Should make even more of a performance difference on a turbo charged engine

Are you getting them custom made or off the shelf?

I couldn't find any decats for mine when I had a quick look.

I'll be going to exhaustuk in sheffield, bear in mind it's still classed as illegal to not have any cats even though your emmision's are clean, they seemed happy to do it when i asked them last week. give them a call they did an excellent job on the back box, hand made high grade stainless steel with an Audi style twin tail pipe.
