Hi just wondering if anyone can shed light to following issue.
Audi a3 tdi 170 BMN 2007
I checked the oil in the morning before setting off, while on the road the yellow oil light comes on with message saying check oil level. I stopped the car and waited 10 min and checked the oil still showing correct closed the bonnet and the warning as gone. Drove approximately 63 miles and the oil light comes on again did the same thing as above and light resets.
I have changed the oil temp/level sensor on the sump for a genuine audi part and carried out a oil service.
Took the car for a drive again same thing after approximately 63 miles the low oil light comes on. I know that opening and closing the bonnet resets the warning.
The following has already been done a few years back remove and clean sump, oil pick up.
Any ideas to this???
