Key Fob Central Locking

I have a problem with the central locking. Basically the key fob has no function what so ever (I have replaced the battery) .

I have also taught the fob in with the VCDS software (says recognised when pressing the lock button) , so it appears the car is receiving the message.

Any idea lads / lasses ?

The car starts absolutely fine, its just the central locking function. The fob doesnt open the boot either.

Try sitting in the car hold the unlock button and insert key in ignition and turn on the ignition ( don’t start the car ) still holding the button for five seconds take key out and release button
See if it works
