Interior Door handle lighting

Hi,

Now the days are shortening I'm finding the white lights in the interior door handles a bit bright. Is anyone else noticing this?

I initially found that on the Golf I have a the moment, in fact a criteria I originally had was a 'night mode' on a model, so I could darken things down as I also don't like glare, however I am finding myself more accustomed to it now (until I switch to the A4 that is)!

IIRC the dash dim function by the lights also controlled the door / cup holder brightness? Otherwise there is some settings in the MMI however they are not granular.

You can dim all of the interior lights in the MMI
