Just wondering what you guys have had price wise for Inspection service, Audi S3 15 Plate 17,000.

Full engine oil replacement
Oil filter replacement
Sump drain plug replacement
Screen wash replacement
Pollen filter replacement
Inspection service carried out

Audi Teeside have said £375 with labour time for service is 1.80 hours.

Seems a bit steep even for stealer prices.

Pardon my french but that is ******* crazy. All the parts even if you go expensive should be under 100 at maximum.

I should have gotten into the automotive industry awhile ago, practically free money.

That's a ridiculous price , go to a VAG independent mate . They'll use OEM parts so warranty stays intact

Bargain! Considering Audi Hull quoted me £386.60 for this. You can spend your £11.60 on a nice mug from the showroom whilst you wait ..actually I think they are £15. So.. tie pin? haha

Audi York quoted me £266.70 for the same.
My mechanic (Ex Audi master tech) charged me £130. And as stated above, genuine parts, logged with Audi etc.

Routinely topping up the screen wash should surely be part of any main dealer service and included in the set price....whatever that happens to be?

Holy crap! I can buy like 10 gallons of vag stuff for £35 from likes of TPS and even eBay. That’s taking the pi55 at the highest level!!!

Colchester Approved Audi, they're usually quite good which is why it took me by surprise, it's definitely depends which salesman you talk to. Some are lovely, others are the classic c0cky car salesman.

Colchester - blimey as it happens I had been checking out the reps of all the Main Dealers in East London /Essex ahead of my cars first service and IIRC Colchester was the, or among the, highest rated.

Problems with Audi are there service costs. Just cost me £439 for a 4 years service. No additions, as Haldex oil etc was done last year. I get mine serviced at Teesside Audi too.

Do you live or work in Darlington? Private reg on your car? There are 2 or 3 Sepang Blue S3 saloons in Darlington. I have one of them. Think I've seen you driving about

Not from Darlington but drive the A68 a fair bit. Only even seen one Sepang Blue S3 Saloon around this area.
Have you used Vasstech or North East Auto Tech?

1.8 hours is nonsense. I had this service done while I waited. Took less than an hour.

Got indy quotes of £225 and £247 which i dont mind paying.
Have said to Audi either match it or cancel my booking.
Waiting to hear back...

Good on you but I doubt Audi will match that price .

Wow !!!! That's a real bending over.

Independent specialist will be much cheaper and likely do a better job. They will use OEM spec kit but may let you supply the proper Audi kit and fit that if you want to have a dealer invoice. The Indy I use let's me supply genuine oil etc (ie VAG Haldex oil) and lists the part number on his invoice stating supplied by customer. I can tally this with the dealer parts invoice.

I went to my local Audi and asked how much for Service Inspection, was quoted £249, I said if you can do it for less than £200 then you can book me in,
£197 it cost me,
I would just try it on and see if they will do it cheaper, but wait till near the month end as they all have sales targets,

Got them down from £396 (as it turned out the 375 didn't include the pollen filter cost...) to £250 while at the garage when the car was about to go in, as they never called me back.
