I have some big issues with installing aftermarket radio to my Audi A4 B6 Avant. I've tried to find help for days but haven't found anything that works. I've bought two different adapters (with and without CAN) but the radio doesn't power on.
My car had a Blaupunkt aftermarket radio when I bought it a couple weeks ago but it didn't work. I bought a Kenwood radio in place of it but haven't managed to get it working. I have no idea which head unit my car has had when new. All I know is that it has been a single DIN unit. In every "how to" instructions I have found there seems to be a red ISO connector box. In mine there's just brown and black. It apparently isn't a Bose system but seems that it also isn't a half active Audi system. Does that have a red box? I've tried to find information on passive Audi sound system, but haven't found any. Is there such thing or should there be a red ISO box somewhere?
