Had my S4 in for MOT this morning and she passed with flying colours after a few years pretty much off the road. The tester said she’s like brand new mechanically underneath which is testament to the way I used to maintain it before I parked it up, as for the bodywork though....that’s a different story!
I’m on with a garage build at the minute then it’s going in for rust repairs and a full windows out respray. Problem areas are the roof rails, front wings and 1 rear quarter where it meets the bumper.
After 4 years of DSG I’d forgotten how nice it is to have 3 pedals and a silky smooth miltek’d v8 under my right foot. I’m going to put it to more use than I have been doing. 31 miles in the last 2 years and only 162 in the last 3 years can’t do it any good.
I’ll start a thread on here once I’m on with restoring it to its former glory, with a few upgrades as well hopefully.
