How to get wipers in to Service position with advanced key?

I can only find the threads for the manual key.
Tried pressing the start/stop button without my foot on the brake and then flicking the wiper stalk down, but get nothing.

Please help!

There should be an option in the MMI

This VCDS coding adds the option to the MMI :-

1. Control Module 09 - Central Electronics
2. Adaptation - 10
3. Channel = (13) Windshield wiper-Menuesteuerung Frontwischer
4. Set to = Active

Advanced key make no difference.

Like Audi say, on/off, then hold in down position for 2-3secs!

I had that problem at first until I realised that I wasn't holding down long enough

Works for me, no need to re-program...

i got slightly annoyed with it.

maybe ill try to hold it down a little longer.

Open car, get in, ignition on to light up the dash (without starting), switch off, immediately pull stalk down, count 1000-2000-3000 and up they'll pop
