How many miles before reserve light?

Just got 606 miles from a full tank of fuel before the reserve light came on.

Anyone do any better?

What engine is it? Thats a light right foot you have regardless! Best I can get out of my 170 quattro so far is 460 miles before light pops up. Still loosening up the engine so hopefully it will hit 500!

140 Diesel

Do a lot of motorway miles so it's not too difficult to get decent fuel consumption. Been trying for a while but usual give up when boredom starts settling in and the need to get home arises.

I get 500 miles to a tank from a 170. Doesn't involve anyway motorway driving either so imagine it would go up with a few longer journeys thrown in.

I was running out of diesel so i slowly headed to the garage, fill with £50 and the DIS read 815 miles in tank.
Didnt stay there to long though.
