Hopefully bought a new Rs3!

Anybody know a good detailer in the northwest? I'll be honest I'm not impressed with the finish of the car from Audi, looks like it's got a few bird poo marks on the paint that have obviously just been left to bake on the car!

Try this guy, Iain at Finer Detailing. He's up in Rochdale but worth the trip as he's a professional.

With yours being black you could really do with a good ceramic coating to protect from swirls.

He's gone over mine twice now! Wouldn't take my car to anyone else.

This is mine below, when finished.

I can STRONGLY recommend Midlands Car Care, take a look on Facebook.. Very professional people at reasonable prices.

Thanks folks, I'm really happy with it.
Booked it in for a proper detail in September.

It looks incredible, I love a black car.. Well worth it when you put the proper maintenance into one. It will look superb after a detail, just have to stick to the two bucket wash then ;)

You make it sound like family duties were a chore, I bet it got easier having the RS3 :D

Well, the car has gone back into Audi today in order to give them the opportunity to sort out the bird muck markings,it's gone to their bodyshop for a proper polish etc.
I also, believe it or not badly kerbed an alloy yesterday, the first time I've kerbed an alloy for about 15years and I've gone and done it in this within 5 days! Gutted is not the word! The good news however is that Audi have said they will sort the alloy out free of charge whilst they have it due to the inconvenience caused.
They also had an S3 sat waiting for me to use whilst mine is in, I've got to say I'm very impressed with my dealer so far. All being well, I collect it tomorrow lunchtime.

You'll have to let us know how it compares with the S3!

Be careful they don't screw the alloy up if just being repaired as it needs a "diamond cut" specialist usually 2-3 days turn-around. I feel your pain too as damaged mine within 2 weeks of ownership!

Hopefully they sort the wheel properly otherwise it will go to a specialist.
TX mine was worse than that!!
Without wanting to offend, let's just say the S3 is a different experience, a much quieter experience!

I collected the car yesterday afternoon, and I've got to say they have done an excellent job on both the paintwork and the kerbed wheel. The wheel looks good as new. I'm happy again now!

Car looks absolutely stunning mate :sunglasses:

Love the black pack with black paint plus titanium alloys & silver mirrors .... there a great combination

I've had an S3 loaner for a few days this week & as good a car as it is, the RS is in a completely different league I have to concur.

The sound is a HUGE factor with the RS3 as is the savage acceleration & power. The S3 is rapid don't get me wrong but there is a noticeable step up in urgency with RS.

Little things too like when you turn the key to strike up the RS it's an event every single time hearing that 5 pot strike into life whereas the S is incredibly mute with no drama.

Exterior changes stand out more too like having LED lights, big F O air intakes at the front & re-styled bumper, huge brakes filling out the alloys, those lovely oval exhausts, the slightly flared arches, perforated diamond quilting and the gorgeous part alcantara steering wheel.

Stepping back into my RS today felt almost as good as the day I collected it 5 months ago .... it really does feel ultra ultra special & gives me tremendous driving enjoyment :)

I couldn't have put it better myself. The S3 is a very nice quick car but the RS3 is on another level in every department, especially noise!!.
