Looks like you have an A5 cab, 2G was phased out around 2007/8 and it was in the A5 when it first appeared, but changed to 3G high or low from 2008/9

I have two ss card slots in the glove compartment but no SIM card slot does this mean I have no connect option?, or is the sim built in? Thought Tec pack had sim?

So deffo not MMI 2G then, 2015 S3 cab, they all look the same from the back.
So it will be a MIB 2 based system, I don't know much about the A3/S3/TT MIB 2, my old 3G+ system (2013) had a SIM slot for connect.
