help needed fitting headlight bulb holders

I have changed my 2011 Audi A3 headlight bulbs but can't seem to get the bulb holders to click back into place. Can anyone help? The rectangular pins are on the bottom but are these location pins as they don't seem to slot into anywhere.

Took the bumper off but couldn't get the headlight out. Damn you Audi. Annoyed and ****** off now as they still aren't in properly.

They are just push fit into the holder and are stiff if H7's. With the bulb well away from the holder spray WD40 onto the springs, that will help. You'll also have to check which way up the bulb goes in, so ease the other headlight bulb out carefully a have a look which way is up. Going by the wiring block is the best way to see the right way up.

Iv got the bulbs into the holders but can't locate the holders into the headlight housing. They were tight coming out so might have to take a trip to Audi to see if they can help me out.
