Hi, we recently rebuilt the engine on my 2007 B7 A4 2.0TFSI. The cause was the in-famous balance shaft.. Anyway, this should be a closed chapter, since the balance was already eliminated and "apparently" all oil leakages solved. The thing is I can't even test my car, because when the engine was being rearmed or mounted the mechanic LOST A SENSOR. Standing in front of the engine is located down - right side. next to the engine block. It should be a 2 pin sensor 20 mm. long max. I have a picture of the 2 pin connector that goes to the sensor, thaht 2 pin connector has the part # 1J0 973 702. As the original sensor was lost, I don't have the part number.
I'll uploaded pictures, I'll try to upload a video WhatsApp Image 2019 04 24 at 124350 View attachment 180864

New info, the block is not originally for this engine (says the mechanic), so the housing fot the sensor in the picture does not need any sensor at all for the car to work.
The "low oil pressure" is back though, but that is for another topic. This topic is closed.
