Glad to finally be on here, I recently bought a 2001 A3 1.8T Sport as a bit of a stop gap but to be honest i'm thinking about having a crack at making it half decent as it's surprised me more than I thought:
It definitely needs some work, these pics are on the first day I got it so as you can see the bonnet is junk, front bumper needs painting and both passenger doors were dented in. Since these pics I've replaced both doors, bonnet and new coil packs, service etc before having it mapped. It's now much livelier than the flat 150bhp it was putting out before
I'll add all the progress in a dedicated thread but for now just wanted to say Hi.
