Heated mirrors

I'm just about to sell my 2001 A4 1.8T Sport which has been a pleasure to own and drive over the last 3 years. The one big gripe I had from day one is that the mirrors are not heated, I did ask my dealer if they could be updated but they said no.

However I found they can! Take a look at...

Well thanks very much Audi for not telling me the correct infomation!!!

Has anyone fitted these? A mate is having the car so it will be a good inverstment this time of the year.

Are these standard on the SE,mine has heated mirrors and washer jets.

dont think mine has these....my old mkiv golf had them. I take it they are constantly heated and therefore no switch, or is it activated from the heated screen or something?

I think they come on with the rear de-mister but I'm not sure???

Yeah, come on with rear de-mister if outside temp is below a certain figure, think its 5c.

Where's the cheapest place to get these from ,Ive just broken one of my mirrors so I may as well replace it with heated ones .....
