headlight leveling, whats the best way to check?

as above whats the best way to check they work, as mine dont look like they move.

Well you could put up against the wall, mark the height temp, put a load of weight in boot & they should raise 1st then drop when sensors pickup the movement, you could set mot mode with vcds against the wall again & see if they move, then disable mot mode & see if they move again, all on a level surface.

dont know if the wife would appreciate being put in the boot!!! lol.
