Haldex pump test

Hi,

My Haldex isn't working. I have ran the output tests in VCDS and I cannot hear any difference with the pump on or off.
Now my question is before I order a pump - I am listening to this with my ear just by the rear passenger wheel (unable to get underneath when I had VCDS)

Is the pump audible from that far away or do I need to get closer?

I was recently thinking the exact same thing!

I am sure when I ran the test a few years ago I could hear it quite easily sitting in the car, but when i just tried it - nothing...nada!
....Tried the test, not that I am experiencing any haldex issues

I’m pretty sure in the past I heard it quite clearly when I ran the test. I’m going to replace mine as it’s quite a common fault and I’m pretty sure mine is goosed. I’m currently stuck in 2WD.
