So i've got a 1.8t.
audi tt 225 engine.
i'm planning big turbo eventually.
but i'm not sure which to go with.
either one will be a cheapo ebay version because budget.
but I am going to crank it to the max. and i'll be shooting for 500whp.
I know that the gt35 can do the 500whp. but i'm concerned about the turbo lag. I'd rather NOT have massive lag.
but at the same time, I know my power goal is really high given my budget.
Could a gt30 get me to 500whp?
mods.
full 3" dp, catless, exhaust.
tubular ex mani.
homebrew largeport big plenum intake mani.
larger TB
80mm TIP
rods
exhaust valves
cams(maybe on this one, only if I can afford it)
large port matched amu head OR aeb head. can do either.
here is an example of the type of turbo i'm looking at getting.
but I wont be purchasing for a while (still enjoying my k04 at the moment)
Thoughts?
thanks.
