Glove box light LED swap

Easy swap ! The glovebox light is annoyingly a bulb even on an all interior LED. Turns out it is the same size as a puddle light. As I replaced my puddle lights with projectors I had 4 extra.

All you need to do is swap the connector you need 1 4B0 971 832.

Specific LED bulb for the glovebox light is like a buck a piece, one of the first thing I did with my car...

It’s the same light fitting as the door puddle lights like the ones with Audi logo. I have the spare led lights as mine came with the Audi logos but been struggling to find the connector that fits. Was going to chop the wires and solder on the led ones on.

I should mention you can do it without removing the glove box I had mine off to do some wiring . Just pop the panel on the side of the dash .
