The torque wrench is it just a gimmick? 6nm is not a lot tbh and do the two lines line up? as mine as no covering for the lines to line up?
If crucial anyone happen to have one please?

Mine seems to work well. Not sure how accurate it is though. Yes the lines are meant to line up. BMW one is similar and again seems to work well.

Are the lines offset and line up under the 6nm of pressure?

Yeah. The end with the head on that affixes to the bolt on the roof rack has a mark on it. The handle and part of the shaft twists with an arrow offset slightly to the left only about 2 or 3 mm apart. As you tighten to the right or clockwise the arrows line up under pressure. Both are 6 nm but, I suspect the margin for error or overtightening is quite large given the small distance required to reach the 6 nm. I don't have a torque wrench to see how accurate they are but, I've never had a problem.
