hey there, need a bit of help please.
was driving the other day, and suddenly the car wouldnt go into 2nd or 4th at all. 1st, 3rd and 5th were all fine. was no bang or noise to indicate why. so im hoping its not a gearbox problem and just the linkage? does this sound right from experience?
also i had noticed the gearstick being quite loose, n along throw between gears. so would upgrading to the audi tt (i heard its a direct fit) linkage make the gear shifts a bit tighter and shorter?
cars goin in the garage tmoro mornin. so any answers asap would be greatly appreciated
