Fuel consumption UP after oil change TDi

Hi,
changed engine oil about a month ago using 5-40 fully synth,
before I had 10-40 semi synth
[TDi AFN 110]

engine sounds smoother but my fuel consumption seems up almost 20%

ideas -
is the oil pump worn and not circulating the oil properly?
bad choice of oil?
disturbed boost pipes during change causing overfuelling?

any input appreciated

unless the old oil was utterly shagged, i wouldnt expect an oil change to improve or reduce fuel consumption.

There will be some other cause.

check the leakback pipes on the injectors arent leaking.

pipes between injectors sound and dry -
changed them about a year ago.

My thought is boost leak from disturbed IC or boost pipe
